Fory next trick...
« on: October 09, 2013, 06:06:52 PM »

There is a conservative morning broadcaster from Pittsburgh called Jim Quinn. He is also symdicated on Sirius.

I know some of you here know him

I listened to a bit of his show this morning while I was out and about.
He claimed there was report in the EU Times that Obama was going to invoke the Emergency Act because all of the state nullification going on.
This would make things interesting

Love him; can't stand her.

Have to look for that EU piece.

I read the EU Times piece yesterday. It used World Net Daily as its source.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Oh, WND.
I feel the same way as you do about Rose, Pan.

Here's another article in the same vein

From AP's link at shtfplan, it appears what's being discussed is what Levin outlined as a possible scenario as well, Obongo (erroneously) citing the 14th Amendment as his authority to raise the debt ceiling on his own, so not so farfetched.

About as farfeched as angry mobs storming the ramparts.   ;)
