I've heard the rumors before. I still find it hard to believe that many people in a room can get agree on anything.

Like Bohemian Grove...just an excuse to Ruling Class elites to get hammered and act like jackasses...

Then again, it's clown meetings like this that gave us Breton Woods and the 1913 Federal Reserve Act & Federal Revenue Act!

I still adhere to the principle of"

Never attribute to conspiracy what stupidity can explain.  These aren't bright people, that occupy our government.  In school, the smartest go off to med school, engineering, computer science, ect.  The dumbest to the Schools of Government.

Bilderberg isn't just  govt people. Its wealthy globalists of all stripes.  Yes, I am sure the sock puppets are happy to come and get hammered while the adults talk.  How much influence this group has is questionable.  If I was running an international conspiracy I would create a Bilderburg group for all of the people  who  have power and influence, but are so stupid and gullible they can be easily lead around by their noses as long as they think they are "in the know" -  Just like Louis XIV built Versailles  to keep his aristocracy distracted and out of his hair.  The place attracts people you can use, and people you can't, but while they are worried about the petty court intrigues over there, they can't be doing anything to disrupt real plans elsewhere.

Agreed.  The real power would be the people controlling these clowns...the latter being visible and ultimately disposable, the former lurking in the shadows scheming and plotting for eons...

The word "conspiracy" has gotten a bad name, and is now used for deflection and misdirection of things that actually are conspiratorial. What is a conspiracy but multiple parties deciding amongst themselves to pursue goals in their mutual interest? The definitive description would be agreements to pursue mutual goals that are done in a clandestine manner because those goals are likely to conflict with the interests of others.

So just because the idea of shadowy conspiracies has a Dale Gribble stigma, don't discount the fact that they do really exist. Meetings of wealthy and powerful people from around the world aren't about discussing the weather or a fantasy football league.
