Went to visit some friends over the weekend and they had a barely-begun huge puzzle laid out on the formal dining table. Gave me a hankerin. It's been a few years.
My problem with the dang things is that I'm obsessive. Once I begin one, I pretty much don't do anything else until it's done. That's probably why I'm streaky.
Understand - don't know how big your friends puzzle is, but I stay with the 1000,1500 and 2000 size, and as far as obsessive -- guilty-- but it's great being retired. Even though I work about 20 hours a week for 'mad' money, the job isn't much so it lets me do my reading, most of the time, so evenings if nothing else is going on it's puzzles. Guess thats one of the benefit of being an old fart...
