That goes to show ya that some people have WAY too much time on their hands. Another by-product of the Obama(part-time)Economy.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

From what I've read, the tech behind the website is as old as this game.

I think that he did it while on hold with the 800 number.

The theme, obviously, is that the website was built with old tech and that is being illustrated with a "what happens next" text game from the 1970s.

Not sure who I heard say this, but the gist of the comment was, 'The website is a fiasco.  And now they are going to hire more people to fix it when any 10-year-old could have built a better website in half a day.'

That was before I found out that a Mooch crony (a Princeton classmate) had the contract for constructing the website.  So basically, The Unaffordable Health Insurance and Patient Denied Care Act website is a failure because of affirmative action.

I don't think it was ever supposed to work. It was meant to Cloward-Piven the system.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
