Baltimore Bridge Collapse
« on: March 26, 2024, 12:52:02 PM »

I heard Ukr captain, Indian crew. Not that that matters. I guess incompetence, booze, or sleep apnea. maybe mechanical failure.

Video clip. Wow.

NEW: At least 7 people are missing after cargo ship appears to lose power & slam into the support beam of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland.

The ship was being piloted by a local pilot who specializes in moving in and out of the Port of Baltimore.

Two people have been rescued from the river. One was uninjured and the other is in “very serious condition” in the hospital.

The ship is a Singapore-flagged container ship, the Dali.

Something was bad wrong with the ship. It looks like it lost power twice:

Agree with your analysis. But two details that still bother me are: 1) The smoke appears to be the engines powering up to full throttle while still in the harbor and 2) The power failures would not have altered the ship’s course. But it very clearly, and rapidly, turns. 🤷???🤔

Very good point. I’ve been wondering all morning if this was intentional and I am starting to think it was…

Watched the video multiple times.  It sure looks like the “ drifting” vessel would have missed the bridge support entirely had it not made two separate course corrections to starboard (right) seconds before impact.  Does anyone else see this?

I’m curious if the power system on the ship could have been hacked or some sort of wave could have been used to knock out the power.

Interesting, the speaker states the ship dropped it's port anchor several minutes before the  collision.   If it was port/stern that would swing the bow
to port (left),  when the lights came back on, that mean power generation had restarted, normally that engine is separate from the drive engines.
The big burst  of black smoke indicated they were recovering main engines, if engaged, which it appears to have been, that with the port (stern) anchor engaged, would swing the bow to  port, driving it into the bridge tower.....

I'll buy this...

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/watch-huge-bridge-baltimore-collapses-after-container-ship-strike

The FJB regime and the Feds were all too quick in waving off terror, which should include a cyber attack.  Harbor pilots typically have been highly trained and are acutely familiar with their harbors and rated for the ships they pilot...so unless they can prove human error or equipment malfunction sans external interference it is most likely a terror-like event and I would put a Black Swan event in that category as it is our own DeepState creating chaos for their own benefit and because the Fed-speak just raises BS detectors many people have now days...

And transporting hazardous materials across that bridge is a fact AOS goes into more details on, and he is of the this smells funny camp -

Good morning, kids. Could there possibly be a more appropriate metaphor for the state of this nation than what happened yesterday morning in Baltimore? And of course, the cherry on the parfait of flaming horse dung – a sack of which evidently was deposited on the doorstep of Jake Sullivan and is being investigated by the FBI as a potential act of terrorism – is vegetable-in-chief Joey Sponge-Brain sh*ts-Pants' comments:

I just read at Stacy McCain's site that it was an all Indian crew.  I don't know if that makes them "acutely familiar with their harbors" or not.

Ship mayday 1 min. prior to hit...

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/maryland-police-were-pre-alerted-divert-traffic-one/

...so could have been worse.  Those construction workers did what they could to stop traffic already in from proceeding any further...6 of them lost...

Heard this morning they shifted from rescue to recovery, but it's a big bag with currents and tides...hopefully all get found...

Contaminated fuel?

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/baltimore-container-ship-crisis

I didn't think anything of the black smoke in clips...thought it was a re-start after electrical loss...what the heck gets into fuel?  Should affect other ships too or somebody contaminated this ship specifically...

I heard contaminated fuel was one speculation. I think the black smoke was the engines starting up again or even in reverse.
some commentators see and know things I do not. They talk of the propeller torque effect and reverse and how it effects steering.. The engines may have been the electrical generation engines which were needed for some steering maybe because they powered the hydraulics. They say the port anchor had been dropped.

I don't think the DEI had much effect unless it was officers or management. Crews are usually third world. Indians or Filipinos maybe.,

Why no mention of drivers that went into the drink? Heard last nite they recovered two in a red pickup and they indicated they were workers on the bridge

Going in reverse and not changing the rudder would have a negative bow move but pilots should know that...

The power outage remains a mystery...

The source of that outage remained unknown as of Wednesday, Homendy said.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/03/27/ntsb-give-update-on-baltimore-bridge-collapse-investigation-and-current-hazmat-concerns-for-baltimore-harbor/

Yet Wray's corrupt FBI says no terror, all is fine...

Prelim report in 2-4 weeks, full report in 1-2 years, yeah, sure we'll be treated like mushrooms again and fed a constant flow of BS...and dragging asses before Congress will yield yet another bumper-crop of "I don't have that answer", "I'll have to look into that" and "I don't think that is true" to accompany heavily redacted documents...

And I still cannot rule out cyber-attack given the loss of power is not being disclosed...I seriously doubt anybody on that ship is oblivious of what caused that...

https://twitter.com/i/status/1772747917717037318

...and the fact that known treasonous louts like McCabe run to GoebbelsMedia and quickly wave off terrorism, as the FBI did immediately...and FJB declares Fed money will rebuild the bridge without even establishing a non-terror cause or suit against shipowner (or whoever!) for negligence...tells me if it is a cyber-attack it is likely the Chinese to whom Biden is known to be beholden to!!!
