Almost 4" of a "very light dusting" this morning, and it's not done yet. So I'll be on the tractor again today to add to the 39.5 hours of plowing snow this winter.

We might be breaking out of our sub-zero temps...of course returning any where near normal for these parts in March means piles of wet heavy globalwarmink!

Oh, and get a load of this...the  ::cussing::  bueracrats at the DNR are NOT yielding on their ice fishing regs one whit this year, despite the fact it has been so cold so long we'll have several feet of lake ice well beyond normal ice house/driving restriction dates...there is no flexibility, no common sense when it comes to government pukes!

Up to 40.7 hours on the tractor plowing this winter. It's really getting frustrating. And there'll be more coming today and later in the week.

It was heavy and wet today, and I even had to plow my way down the street to our neighbors' house and back home.

I'm tired of plowing.........  ::oldman::

I got frostbitten chipping at ice after 10 minutes instead of 5.  So, um, not the dead of winter is close.

We've been having all these Scots fertilizer ads running on radio and TV up here for several weeks now...do these people get locked into national deals or what?  It must be something like that because unless they all have their heads up their butts they should know it is still WINTER up here and we have several inches, feet actually in many parts, of fricken snow!  We don't even know if we still have a lawn!  Perhaps they just like to piss us off up here?  Maybe that's the marketing genius behind this campaign.

It's comforting to know that we have the most up-to-date weather forecasts in the world.

We're supposed to get between 4" and 17" of snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Geez.....Why brother to say anything?
