The waiting time is already up.   One of my mom's friends is waiting until at least the end of May for a hip replacement.  Before Barrycare,  she probably would have had it done 3 weeks ago already.

It is going to get much...much...worse.

So since dh is still unemployed we are paying 100% for our insurance and it stinks. I had to take my kid to a hospital in a suburb a half hour away (with no traffic) for lab tests because that's the only hospital in our plan. Fortunately for emergencies we can still go to our closest hospital (there are 3 within 15 minutes). But it sucks if we ever need a scheduled surgery to have to go somewhere we don't have our doctor.

I had to explain to my daughter why we had to go so far. None of our doctors (all of who are in our plan) are affiliated with this hospital.

a) No surprise, these people are who we always thought they were.

b) No matter what this will not ever be protrayed by the MFM as any kind of failure of progressive ideology being incompatible with human existence.
