Damn, you beat me to it. That post at the Democrat Underground is the ULTIMATE. I hear by declare that the entire thing is required reading.
You'll laugh. You'll cry. Okay...you won't cry but you will laugh a lot. This is the absolute best. Click on the above link and ENJOY.
For some background on who this douche is you can read about him at
NewsBusters.One other link: This
link will take you to the first DU post. This is the one that starts out with how happy he was that he was going to "get covered."
The post that MNHawk linked to was written on the 18th of March.
This one was written on the 19th (yesterday) and it's more of the same.
EDIT: Having read a lot of this stuff now I can say that I do feel sorry* for the douche and especially for his ailing spouse. He f**ked up. He trusted Obama. And now he is paying dearly for it. His spouse suffers from MS and cannot get the meds she needs because the stupid-ass DumbassCare plan that they have does not cover them. She was on COBRA and they (stupidly) let it go when he (excitedly) signed up for DumbassCare. And now he (and his unfortunate spouse) are paying dearly for that choice. She is going to suffer. A lot. He will, too. And he will have to live with the knowledge that it was his stupid-ass politics, his cheerleading for Obama and DumbassCare that ultimately doomed his spouse.
So...I can exercise some modicum of sympathy for my political adversary but can his buddies at DU? Some of them, yes. A lot of them, most decidedly no. He is getting the kind of "sympathy" and "advice" from those clowns that Job received from his "friends" which is to say, pretty horrid and unhelpful. The comments from his comrades at the DU are pretty horrible...a smorgasbord of Monday morning quarterbacking about what he did wrong and why he shouldn't be blaming Obama, etc. Totally disgusting. But, that said, you lie with dogs...
*I feel sorry for him the way that I feel sorry for a rabid dog who is obviously suffering but still needs to be put down. The thing is, he has learned nothing really. If you were to ask him about any of the other horribly damaging things that his hero is doing to the country he would stand up for all of that crap without hesitation. He is, after all, a true believer. All he knows right now is that DumbassCare is not working for him and he's pretty pissed off about it. And that it's all about him. I can guarantee that he wouldn't be outraged if this were happening to someone else (witness his buddies on DU). So, although I feel sorry for him and his spouse I really don't because it would be like feeling sorry for Saddam Hussein being tortured after he was captured. No, I don't want to see Saddam tortured...I would rather see him just plain executed. And that's because he deserved to be punished for his multitudinous acts of terror. I guess I would shoot him in his extremities a few times and let him bleed out in as much pain as possible but I wouldn't want to be a torturer per se. This William Pitt is an absolute puke and what he is going through is horrible and, yes, he deserves it for all of the accumulated filth he has spewed for many years but I take no actual joy in his suffering even though I am reasonably sure that he would be delighted in watching any conservative suffer. I am happy to have that distinction.
"I long for a time machine.
I helped, in my own small way, to promote this thing, because of the pre-existing conditions aspect that would benefit my wife. I feel like a f**king dupe.
On edit: I AM a f**king dupe. Last time that happens."
And he is a dupe but continues to be one on all other lib issues so no lesson learned. Here is a typical response to his thread:
What does the President have to do with your insurance company's formulary?
I mean the attack seems purely gratuitous.
Another...
It's your responsiblity to check to see if your medications are covered. This was true before the ACA.
The fact is that you can work with the insurance company to see if they will cover it, and you can appeal their decision.
Or this one:
I can see getting angry at an insurance company adjustor
Who won't do what you want right away. But the POTUS is not the first person I'd think of. Just weird.
