    More crushing injustice on campus, this time at the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies:

        In a letter sent to colleagues in the department after the sit-in, [Professor] Rust said students in the demonstration described grammar and spelling corrections he made on their dissertation proposals as a form of “micro-aggression.” “I have attempted to be rather thorough on the papers and am particularly concerned that they do a good job with their bibliographies and citations, and these students apparently don’t feel that is appropriate,” Rust said in the letter.

    You see, by highlighting spelling and punctuation errors, the professor is contributing to an “unsafe climate for students of colour.” For those of you interested in the policing of tiny tragedies, “micro-aggressions” are defined by one official report as,

        Subtle verbal and nonverbal insults directed toward non-whites, often done automatically and unconsciously. They are layered insults based on one’s race, gender, class, sexuality, language, immigration status, phenotype, accent, or surname.

A few somebodies need a kick in the ass.

“micro-aggression" - how convenient.

This is another way of excusing antisocial behavior. "The little dears - they just can't help themselves".

It's as though they are daring us to exhibit racist attitudes. They want us to say, "The stupid naggers are incapable of learning". This is bullsnit. Why do I say that? Because we know from history that blacks can be educated, that they can conform to acceptable social standards, and that they can behave themselves. For decades they did just that. They went to school. they worked at jobs. They endured real racism and mostly did so with quiet grace. Lots of them engaged in The American Dream.

But rust never sleeps and liberalism never ceases in its quest to destroy. Dhimmicrats perfected the art of pandering. Blacks learned they they really were willing to subjugate themselves for a shiny bauble. It is the Age of Disability. Everyone is afflicted with something. Blacks apparently contracted The Shiftlessness in massive numbers. It's entirely curable but, like alcoholism the first step is admitting that you have a problem and you must want the cure.

Soooo....sorry - but no sorry. I'm not going to cut you any slack. It wouldn't be fair to you and it wouldn't be fair to me. Pick up a book, listen to an elder, turn off the boob-toob, and get yer ass back into school (I offer that last part with several grains of salt). Grab onto those bootstraps and pull as if your very life depended upon it.

I read something recently and it may have been written by Sowell (the writer I remember was black) that values,etc that have made Western society/USA so successful are available to all.  The writer cited various ethic groups (Asians,etc) that have thrived in our society because they adopted Western values. The writer himself was an example. And he pointed out that anyone including blacks can succeed by using what works. Western values may have been established by whites but they're not exclusive to one ethnic group --they transcends race and work for all.

Sowell wrote in an article last month that he's been told by black students that they've dreamed of certain pursuits but realize "the man" won't let him succeed.  He said many of these dreams are things that blacks have done decades ago.

The students in this article will be academics so they will not have to succeed on their own merits.  So they will "get away with" substandard skills. Maybe they'll go into politics.  But they will not rise to the upper levels of business and succeed. They will not be productive.

Ultimate nothing the left does is about "racism" - its behavioral-ism they don't like.
