The answer for the dissenters, of course, is to "educate" men, so they don't rape. NOT to deal with the reality that some men will, and doing something to protect ones self in the case where "education" fails to educate.

Anti-rape underwear (video)
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

To the innovative gals who came up with the idea - way to go ! To the dissenters like that one simple-minded chick - good luck with that (not).

A modern take on the chasity belt!

Of course, anything to protect cannot be a bad thing, the detractors offer no fool-proof alternative, so their comments are silly at the outset.

However, there must be a key to this rig, eh?  I mean a girl has to umm, tinkle at some point, right?  Ladies, y'all need more than this...I suggest at least one discretely hidden blade and pistol!

Umm, will add more wait time on legitimate date night too if deployed!

Soon the "deluxe" model will add a kevlar pocket big enough to pack one of these babies:

Shhick!

If women want to wear anti rape underwear, good for them. Personally, I'm not sure they would actually work and I would question the comfort. I would rather women arm themselves....whether a gun, knife, mace, etc. if a man has gotten to the point he is attempting to take off underwear.....it is most likely too late, because you may be injured.

I'm guessing the underwear was marketed for date rape (drug induced) where the woman is powerless to stop it, armed or not. JMHO

Yeah, it's more like "Go ahead and get me as drunk as you want, you're not getting any" underwear.

Yeah, like "No shoplifting the pooty" -- "Jerry Maguire" -- underwear.

Or:

"Save me from the IRS audit underwear."

"Save me from Healthcare.gov Hell underwear."

"Save me from the ex-wife's child support  increase underwear."

Rape is rape, after all . . .
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

And wait until the woman wearing anti rape underwear attempts to get on a plane with her poon tang protector setting off all kinds of alarms.

I can't imagine how a conversation with a TSA agent would go.

I imagine the words would be few but the personal assualts and violations many.
