He links to a NYT's article from 2009, an outfit that adores and carries dirty water for Putin's nemesis on a daily basis, in a weak effort to bolster the pathetic argument that Vlad is entirely in the right and that provoking him (like provoking say Obama with the truth) is justification enough to sanction any retalitory response up to and including mass murder...while ignoring the express conditions of the December 5th 1994 Budapest Memorandum (aka Memorandum on Security Assurances in connection with Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) that Russia is ignoring - specifically: threatnening the independence and soverignty of Ukraine, violating the territory of Ukraine, the use of force/threat of force on Ukraine and the economic coercion of Ukraine (Gazprom, hello?!) as well as conveniently ignoring the fact that the US and the UK pledged to come to the aid of Ukraine if threatened by ANY of the above!
