If we had real leadership that was actually interested in projecting American strength, we'd be playing some good old Cold War games against the ChiComs. It's said that the CIA did things like flying the SR-71 directly over Moscow during parades, just to screw with the Russians and remind them they had nothing that could catch that bird.
There was also the incident sometime in the early 80s when virtually every Soviet ballistic missile sub was being shadowed by an American attack sub, and they all pinged their sonar at the same time.
Instead, we're just consigned to the nursing home of civilizations, soon to be followed by the cemetery of civilizations.
Exactly the point I was trying to make with the PaulBots!
If I were President, I would order the Iowa to be dusted off and prepped for sea duty. Once ready I would have her take point on shadowing Chi-Com capital ships. Sonsofbitches want to play dangerous games eh? They want to play some chicken? Let them tangle with a tough old battlewagon and see what they pull!
The other thing I was trying to convey is the utter unprofessionalism of the Chi-Com personnel, at least with the Rooskies (while they could be unpredictable and a little crazy) they knew basic seamanship, maneuvering and tactics and knew when they were beat. Like the Chi-Com's their propaganda might say one thing, but the people on the front line on both sides always knew who won the game. The Chi-Com's have no such scruples, they are wreckless, they are pushing the boundaries of what is allowed in the 12 nautical mile territorial waters and the next 12 nautical mile contiguous zone and the larger 200 nautical mile exclusive economic zone...they illegally build man-made reefs and deploy buoys to extend/claim more territorial rights than international law allows, the drive their boats like tanks and the spy the hell out of our movements and those of our allies and yet get bent out of shape and look to start shyt when we do the same? They are little yellow assclowns! If they cannot learn to play the game the right way, I'd teach them!
