And since the progressives are Hell-bent on destroying the world and plunging us into another Dark Ages...it will be quite some time before the population rebounds and the next Renaissance comes along (assuming mankind ever lears from its mistakes)...so travel elsewhere in the cosmos is likely several centuries if not an eon away...

Considering that NASA is currently more preoccupied with Muslim Outreach and propping up AGW than it is with space exploration, even eons might be an overly optimistic estimate.
