This is exactly the kind of crap that occurs as a result of treating the Armed Forces as a social experiment in the latest dumbass ideas out of the minds of perverted pc/diversity/multi-culti carreer-minded politically-oriented jackassed leadership!
Instead of weeding out the idiotic cultists, they attempt instead to weed out those who dare call their stupidity out for examination in the clear light of day. Yes, God forbid the general staff have to answer embarrassing questions, let's just sweep this thing away and pretend it never happened, lets pretend we never tried to railroad an innocent officer into taking the fall for something he didn't do (and I would go so far to say nothing that would be wrong if condoned in the first place!) and go back to business as usual.
Good God! If there was one branch left where sanity had the best chance to prevail it was the Marine Corps!
