Chick-fil-A (http://www.weaselzippers.us/227914-america-has-chosen-its-favorite-fast-food-place-chick-fil-a/) ::thumbsup:: ::thumbsup:: ::thumbsup::
According to the ACSI, the top six fast-food restaurants are:
1. Chick-fil-A
2. Chipotle
3. Panera
4. Dunkin’ Donuts
5. Pizza Hut
5. Papa John’s
The bottom six are:
1. McDonald’s
2. Jack in the Box
3. Burger King
4. Taco Bell
5. Wendy’s
6. KFC

Don't patronize any of them, although once in a while Gunsmith will hit Chick-fil-A.

I was at Chick-fil-A 2 weeks ago - they're a cut above, with hostesses & a staff as pleasant as can be - founder Dan Cathy's influence is still very much felt.
Though I've been to Chipotle twice in my life, it's not a chain I frequent. We grab to-go sandwiches from Panera, about once every other month, hate Dunkin' Donuts weak brew & almost never go to pizza chains (we have our local favorite pizzerias). I'll drink McDonald's Premium roast coffee on the road, never use Burger King, Jack-in-the-Box or KFC, will grab Taco Bell 2-3 times a year & just grabbed a bowl of chili & some natural cut fries @ a Wendys in Binghampton, NY this past Sunday on the way home from a weekend conference in Ottawa, Canada.

I find it odd that McD's is at the bottom considering they're EVERYWHERE. Can't stand it, myself.

My ranking of those mentioned:
Chipotle
Chik-fil-A
Wendy's
Panera
Pizza Hut
McDonald's
Burger King
KFC
Taco Bell
Never ate at Dunkin' Donuts, Papa John's, or Jack-in-the-Box.
I don't believe JitB are in MN. Dunkin' Donuts was gone from MN for many years, and just started to come back recently. We prefer local pizza or decent quality frozen pizza.
I had my first Chik-fil-A a couple months ago, as they were a new entry into the MN market. The spicy chicken is glorious.

I've never eaten at
Chipotle
Chik-fil-A
Panera
Taco Bell
Dunkin' Donuts
Papa John
I tend to prefer sit-down restaurants where I can flirt with the waitresses ;')

I prefer the local small guy type store the chain stuff just isn't fo me any more. I doo miss Dunkin though.
-
For Pizza I always go small/local over chain...the quality always seems better.
It's like a steak joint...you get a better cut and a better cooked steak at a family run steak joint than some McChucklenuts franchise.

1. Chick-fil-A - Love, but as with all high calorie fast food, I can't eat it very often.
2. Chipotle - Never had. Had Qdoba, which seems to be a lot like Chipotle. OK.
3. Panera - Never got paying premium money for a lunch meat sandwich. Maybe Subways if I want something healthier than a burger
4. Dunkin’ Donuts - Coffee only
5. Pizza Hut - OK, but prefer local places like Detellos or Bucas for my Italian fix
5. Papa John’s - Never had
The bottom six are:
1. McDonald’s - Why?
2. Jack in the Box - None here
3. Burger King - Why?
4. Taco Bell - Sometimes
5. Wendy’s - Usually, if I want a burger
6. KFC - Prefer Cubs deli. Cheaper and better tasting.
Been meaning to try Smashburger, which is close.

My two-bits in blue...
1. Chick-fil-A - Love, but as with all high calorie fast food, I can't eat it very often. Don't look at calories, works for me! :D
2. Chipotle - Never had. Had Qdoba, which seems to be a lot like Chipotle. OK. I call the burritos they have "gut bombs", stay with ya a while, know what I mean? Also, they are better Norovirus-free. ;D
3. Panera - Never got paying premium money for a lunch meat sandwich. Maybe Subways if I want something healthier than a burger. Agreed, I do like Panera bread tough, but a bunch of libiots IIRC, so do not frequent much anymore.
4. Dunkin’ Donuts - Coffee only. What's coffee? :D
5. Pizza Hut - OK, but prefer local places like Detellos or Bucas for my Italian fix. Yes, or Cosetta's, or Savoy Pizza, or local pizza places not big chains. PLus, for lunch buffet I would rather go to Pizza Ranch than Pizza Hut.
5. Papa John’s - Never had. Me neither, can't say I want to.
The bottom six are:
1. McDonald’s - Why? As in why go? Yeah, why? Other than a quick breakfast why bother, for burgers I'd rather hit Culvers.
2. Jack in the Box - None here. I think I ate at one out west though, not impressed.
3. Burger King - Why? Same as above, rather hit Culvers.
4. Taco Bell - Sometimes. Rarely, just OK.
5. Wendy’s - Usually, if I want a burger. The ones by me appear to be getting worse quality-wise, not sure why, can't find good kids? I'm passing on them now.
6. KFC - Prefer Cubs deli. Cheaper and better tasting. Again, Culvers has better fried chicken, most grocery store deli counters have better fried chicken. I see no reason to go to these, and long long ago when I would hit one once in a while, sides are about as cold as the November wind! No shmank you.
Been meaning to try Smashburger, which is close.

Qdoba and Chipotle are nothing alike. Trust me.

All I know is they both seem to be the kind of place you go, that, that, and that with a little of that, cafeteria style.
Culvers? Heh. Never had a burger, there. My eyes never get past the tenderlions. I probably would put that chain #1, just for those.
