Title: Germany Desperate For More Coal Power
Post by: Glock32 on November 28, 2014, 10:45:51 AM
H/T: Small Dead Animals

I'm sure you've seen the pet argument the progs like to trot out, where they think they're refuting the non-viability of "green energy" by pointing to Germany as the world leader in renewable energy. They're actually convinced that Germany is meeting its energy needs with solar panels and windmills, and that the German example proves resistance to the idea is motivated simply by their favorite bogeyman: greed.

Here's the reality.  Germany has had to slash the generous subsidies it once promised to producers of green energy.  Furthermore, Germany is constructing new coal power plants to meet energy shortfalls.

This further underscores how wrong the progs are when they accuse us of being anti-science.  I doubt anyone on our side is opposed to the idea of renewable energy, but it has to come about organically and not as a result of some stalinistic 5 Year Plan. A viable technology doesn't have to be pushed by state subsidies. Germany and Spain thought they were going to be the world leaders, and instead both have realized solar and wind energy are nowhere close to viable for use as general utility power.

Their "sky is falling" attitude toward nuclear power could have something to do with this little problem that have now. On the other hand I think we can all agree that Germany's indoctrination centers is definitely a root cause of the negative attitude at nuclear energy. Combine this with their importation of Islamic thugs from Sandniggerdom and you can conclude it sucks to be German. ::cussing::

It use to be that a country';s government was tasked with making good sound decisions regarding the welfare of the state as a whole but that's apparently passed under the bridge.

They got saddled with herds of useless folk when the wall fell and it blew up their social welfare system, and then they had already been burdened with a youth virulently anti-nuke, I remember all those idiots protesting all the damn time with their grim reaper costumes and anti-nuke and anti-Reagan signs and crap...the former led to needing cheap import labor (mostly foreign and often times Muzzie) and the latter handcuffed them energy-wise, but ironic isn't it that a nuclear powered Germany was forbidden but it is swell if the world wants batshyt effing nuts Muslim religious fanatatics in Iran have nuclear power?

The world is effed up in so many ways it isn't close to funny.

Yes I remember those snots protesting over nothing. None of them were alive to protest the Kaiser's invasion of Belgium during the first and second world wars but of course they would have been happy not to have faced the gun placements on the Maginot Line
