We'll see what the sentencing is, if he gets worse than a white-collar country-club slam...
Hopefully he gets slammed hard.

Illinois. The only state with more corrupt politicians than Louisiana. They've certainly given our leges something to shoot for. ::puke::
-
He'll have a cellmate to "foof' his hair ... and a few other things !
-
Time for his c**kmeat sandwich!
::hysterical::

I would hope that if there's any evidence to be turned on O'Chimpy, Holder, Jarrett, Emanuel, etc, that facing the inside of a prison cell might compel Blago to spill some beans.
-
I think he tried, several times, for the beans to be admitted into evidence and the judge wouldn't allow it.

The time for cutting a deal was before going to trial, now the poor bastard blew that opportunity and doing so now willl only be pooh-poohed by Obamites as a desperate gamble by a doomed crook.
He'll have to take this all by himself.
Not to say he couldn't make money while in the can telling his side of the story...

I don't know if Illinois prohibits felons profiting from their fame but I bet his wife will have a book.

Yeah I don't know either, but that profiting from infamy trend seemed to be stronger in conservative law & order states than more liberal ones. Hopefully most states are adopting that stance.

Judge : " Mr. Blagojevich , do you have anything to say before I pass sentence ? "
Blago : " Uh ... I was going to offer you a U.S. Senate seat in exchange for a lighter sentence and then I remembered that I'm not the governor anymore ." ::whoohoo::

The only cards he had were Øbongo's involvement and no one in the (un)justice department wants to go anywhere near that.

Yeah, and they got their hands full with Erica's troubles...

He was sentenced to 14 years today (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2011-12-08/news/chinews-stiff-sentence-appears-likel-20111207_1_robert-blagojevich-illinois-governor-rod-blagojevich)

One commenter says good behavior would mean only serving 85% of that, if true that would be 11.9 years. Still seems short.
But Obama, Holder & Co deserve about triple that, so, everything in perspective...
