Five Reasons Huckabee Isn't Running for President (http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2011-02-23/five-reasons-mike-huckabee-isnt-running-for-president/)
For those keeping score at home, here are five reasons why it doesn’t look like Mike Huckabee is running for president:
1. He admitted he has no idea what to do about Afghanistan.
2. He confessed that he wants to keep making a nice salary at Fox News.
3. He offered an impassioned defense of his decision to grant clemency to an Arkansas convict who went on to kill four police officers.
4. He has bulked up again and does not look in shape for political combat.
5. And, yes, he praised Michelle Obama.

I read that a bit ago. He does tend to go a little bonkers at times. I guess now is another one of those times. Stay on Fox Mikey, stay away from running. For God's sake stay away from running!

Huckabee Defends Michelle, Gov Should Totally Feed Poor Kids Better So We Have Healthy Soldiers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK3FKardBeg#)

He's another who's obsessed with food and diet, to the extent that he wishes more government intrusion on the issue. His reason of creating "healthy" soldiers smacks of collectivism/social justice BS; we really aren't individuals, just "factors" that impact society as a whole.
He can kiss my azz.
I was listening to an XM Radio talker over the weekend, Andrew Wilkow, who stated his opinion that it's ridiculous people are saying in order for Chris Christie to run for president, he'd have to lose weight. Wilkow wants him to get fatter, if that's what floats Christie's boat - at least in this way, Christie will have little to no care about the fat the rest of us carry or what we eat.

It also smacks of "halp us, were stuk in irak" elitism, in that he tacitly implies that poor kids who are fed their meals by the government schools ("If you don't feed these kids, it's the only food they're gonna get) are the ones who would presumably be made healthier by government intervention, thus preparing them for the fate of all underprivileged young men - military service.
In know he didn't say it. But I heard it.

That may very well be, but what I suspect is he's referring to a recent study done by the military indicating there's a vast majority of young people who cannot meet the minimum physical requirements for enlistment. They're not poorly nourished, they're overweight and out of shape. (But their thumbs are in tip-top condition :D)

The main reason he's not running is because McCain is not running, so he won't need the Huckster to guard his flank in the primaries.

What the heck is he trying to do? Earn a post in the regime?

One of the good things about the situation we're in is that it's flushing out the people who a) don't get it and/or b) don't have the fortitude to take unwavering positions of leadership.
Huckabee is just another pre-Obama leftover whose role in solving our problems will be precisely zero.

Not running? Good.

#3 and #5 were enough but I can think of a hell of a lot more than that............
