Soquel High Senior Mikey Donnelly wore a white t-shirt for his senior class photo Tuesday. About 10 of his friends did the same. (http://www.moonbattery.com/archives/2011/05/educrats-ban-th.html)
That decision may seem harmless. But Soquel High suspended Donnelly for three days because of it.
Donnelly said the school told him people were offended and intimidated by his group, claiming they're a white supremacist gang.
Not all of the alleged white supremacists are even white.
"I feel disrespected," says Soquel High Senior David Mine.
Mine also wore a white t-shirt and was also suspended. He's missing out on finals and that could jeopardize his graduation.
"I'm Asian," says Mine. "I don't see how I can be a white supremacist."
As for the educrats in charge:
Soquel High Principal Ken Lawrence-Emanuel was very tight-lipped about it, saying students' punishments are confidential. But told me the school got several complaints about a white pride group on campus.
"Safety is always first at Soquel High," says Lawrence-Emanuel. "We want to make sure we do everything we can to keep people from feeling and being safe on campus."
If that's what he really said, Lawrence-Hyphen-Emanuel has been doing a bang-up job. Students will feel and be anything but safe on a campus run by authoritarian lunatics.
Educrats have no problem with black supremacists or militantly racist La Raza types. But as the wise say: it isn't about race, it's about culture. Obliterating ours and replacing it with something oppressive and insane is the duty of public schools.
I'm wondering if we don't need an "Educrat Azzhattery" category because the hits just keep on coming.
eta: RATS! I always forget the H/T first time 'round; this one to RD.

The lack of logic here is astounding.
So kids can't wear white T's because it intimidates those who are afraid there might be a white supremacist group at the school. Therefore if you ban white T's the white supremacist group disappears?
-
Yeah but schools can have "Raza Studies" with official textbooks advocating the ethnic cleansing of "gringos" and that's all A-OK.

Or something equally as head-stuck-up-butt. The 'crats would have to believe as well dat dem damn eeevil Whites hookwinked a yella fella into joining in with them.
Then there's the issue of if a group of Mexicans or Blacks decided they were going to do same-color t-shirt day, would there be a fear problem.
Can't stand it.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their
skin t-shirt, but by the content of their character.
I have a dream."

Lawrence-Emanuel. "We want to make sure we do everything we can to keep people from feeling and being safe on campus."
Do you think he realizes he did just that, but not the way he intended?
And this f**king libiot is an educator?
-
Not an educator, an indoctrinator, and a complete batsh*t crazy racist SOB to boot! I say wrap him in a blanket and beat the crap outta him, but that's just me.

A hyphenated name is a solid indicator that the bearer suffers from Proglitosis.

"I may not like what you wear, but I will defend to the death your right to wear it."

Most students under Hypneated-Dumbass are probably already lost...
im a student at soquel high school, these kids do deserve what they did because this group of kids have been doing this all year throwing up white power and EAST SIDE santa cruz, even bringing american flags and wearing them as bandanas on Cinco De Mayo.
Nothing says white power more than dissing a "holiday" created by a beer company.
-
Apparently, them kids ain't spendin much time in English class:
these kids do deserve what they did . . .
Huh? They deserve what they did? What did they did to deserve what they did?

This is what aggravates me more than anything else about this. These fcking Mexicans have the idea that Americans kids have to respect their phoney Mexican "holiday" on their own soil, that displaying the US flag on that day instead is disrespect? Damn right it is, and rightfully so.

If these kids were about "White Power" or showed actual supremacist bent, that's one thing. If they were about demonstrating American pride, that is entirely another. It seems to me from everything I'm reading that the kids were all about American pride. Nevermind in whose presence they were demonstrating it. The question is, do we disallow it ANYWHERE within our own national borders in order to satisfy those who first allegiance is NOT to America, and if so, since frakkin when? I say, "hell no."
The Left actively and purposefully conflates White supremacy and American nationalism, as if demonstrating American pride within our own borders in the presence of illegal aliens is equivalent to racism. This activism needs to be countered, particularly by children.
It is a sorry thing to say, but parents who are faced with the loss of their school districts to illegal aliens ought to use their children to make statements against this ridiculous nationalism = racism movement through choices in clothing, accessories, etc. Every American kid should be sent to school with a flag pin, a George Washington T-Shirt, etc.
-
My guess from reading the comments is that these kids were pushing back against the non stop promoting of OTHER cultures, which is why asians and blacks were a part of this. Pushing the buttons of the modern day Education College types that built this mess.
Did the school have to suspend these students, else the animals would have broken out in violence against things like dissing beer holidays? Probably so.

And if they were, I have no problem with it.
We, and they, have to deal with the "Black Power"/"Brown Power" in our faces and to turn around and say because that's wrong, White Power is equally wrong, is to remove one of the few ways to push back that the cultural marxists recognize.
If this is what it takes to get White folk to finally wake up and see how we're being demeaned, marginalized, abused, and stripped of any power in our country, then I'm good with it.
-
so the next thing is to ban wearing any red, white or blue--because it reminds them of the American flag
Parents and kids outraged by this (asuming it's an American pride thing) should start wearing red, white and blue
I would
