Snow is making me crazy
-
LOL.
-
We had a final shot of Global Warming yesterday...about 4"...today it's all but gone....making for a soggy backyard.
Finally ready or some solid, regular miles on the road...s'been an easy winter not to run.
-
Probably get dabs of global warming for 3 more weeks here in Pa.
Got around 500 +/- seeds started so I'm getting anxious to get the gardens plowed.
Almost time to plant peas, onions and lettuce.
:)

25 below c.. this morning at 07:00... Gawd I'm sick of winter. ::snoshovel::
-
It was in the 70s yesterday, the muck is all dry and while I am sure winter isn't "over" they are predicting weather in the 80s next Saturday
I love Colorado because you always get a week of summer here and there throughout the winter. Of course, it can also snow in July.
-
I miss the seasons.

I miss the seasons.
Do you now?
I'm betting at least 75% would trade those "seasons" with you at least once.
50 Years to the day( March 21), it snowed as mother trekked to the hospital for the birth of her last PIA, me. ::newyear::

We got a dusting here, enough to stick to the trees and such and make everything look oh so wintery swell this fine Spring morning!
And let me tell you about retarded commuters whose brains are wetter than the roads!
-
Snow? What's that? ::exitstageleft::
-
You want me to fetch ya so you can get a good look? ::pokeineye::
-
above zero today and a snowblew about 7 inches of last nights global warming out of the driveway.
Going out for a ride and get me some poutine.

Kinda like a Canadian version of tater-tot hotdish! ::thumbsup:: Mmmmm!
I know there are slight variations, we'll let you expound on your preference!

libertas...
it has to be hand cut fries, cooked in corn oil... covered with cheddar cheese curd, and slathered in beef gravy... served hot in a bowl, with fresh buns on the side, with a pound of salty butter for the buns.. Coke, cold water or a good Ale finishes the repast off.
When finished, you can actually hear the cholesterol collecting in your veins.

Yeah, sounds delightful! I have to try some of this sometime, bet I would love it!
Of the places in town that make it (http://minneapolis.eater.com/maps/a-handy-guide-to-the-twin-cities-best-poutine#)...I think I might like #4 (Muddy Waters Bar & Eatery) best...or I just try to whip some up myself.
-
I agree, the breakfast one at # 4, looks like a winners, Instant heart attack right there... Wish I could wander down and try it this morning..
-
I like stuff that falls into that comfort food category...plus old fashioned meat & taters guy, so...
This place is in Uptown and the opposite direction of my commute, but on a quiet day, if I take an afternoon off...I might have to swing down and try it.
-
Let me know if'n you like it... But bottom line, its easy to make, I often make it myself, My wife breaks out in hives when I do, and I'm lectured for about 30 minutes about heart issues.

Nope, 3 plus feet on the inland lakes.. I live on Superior and nobody short of snow machine kids and fools go out on that ice to check the depth.
We had a warm day yesterday, plus 6 c, today its down to minus 8 this morning..
Heading down south tomorrow for a couple of weeks, hopefully when I get back, I won't see 5 feet of snow on my lawn..

This warm spell we've had and all the wind that came with it really tore things up good. It's only going to be 44 today but hitting the 50's this weekend...I think Old Man Winter got kicked out, I think we made it!

We have about another 3 weeks I would guess, but that doesn't really mean a lot, Our gun range is largely below ground level, and I've had 4 feet of snow in the thing on the 24 of May weekend.

You have me really interested in trying poutine now.

It's amazing how fast they open up, when it's 84.
