At least one camera in the hallway outside the cell where authorities say registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself earlier this month had footage that is unusable, although other, clearer footage was captured in the area, according to three people briefed on the evidence gathered earlier this month.
It was not immediately clear why some video footage outside Epstein's cell is too flawed for investigators to use or what is visible in the other, usable footage.

“Those three fractures are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation,” said Baden.
“The prominent hemorrhage in the soft tissues of the neck next to the fractures is evidence of a fresh neck compression that could have caused the death."
“I’ve not seen in 50 years where that occurred in a suicidal hanging case,” the 85-year-old medical legend told Fox News.

The Epstein story seems an endless labyrinth. Every day, the latest news adds a twist – a new dark corridor to pursue – to wit, another mysterious Epstein-linked death. Tom Bowers, Epstein’s private wealth banker for over 20 years, allegedly committed suicide – just as the FBI was seeking to interview him about the millions of dollars in controversial Deutsche Bank and Citibank loans he supposedly brokered for Epstein.
True Pundit founder Mike “Thomas Paine” Moore was in charge of anti-money laundering for a major Citigroup division when Citi extended large loans to Epstein. “The loans to Epstein were personal and commercial,” Paine claimed. “The Citi loans I can confirm were for more than $25 million. Some were secured, some were not.”
Did Citi adjust its’ rules of lending to accommodate Epstein? Paine said that appears “quite likely,” with Bowers and other executives he later recruited to work for him at Deutsche Bank all working to secure the approvals regardless of compliance-related red flags.
Sources said Citi loaned Epstein astronomical sums, over and above $100 million, and allowed Epstein to use the bank to send thousands of wire transfers from his accounts. These loans were allegedly brokered by Bowers.
Meanwhile, Epstein may have been in default on his millions in outstanding Citi loans. That was not an issue since Bowers then left Citi for Deutsche Bank, where he approved new high-risk loans and credit lines for Epstein. Was this a Ponzi shell-game?
Bowers was the chief of Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division and worked from the bank’s’ Park Avenue offices in New York City. At Citi, Bowers served as the chief of the Citi Private Bank and previously ran Citigroup’s Global Markets and Wealth Management businesses.
Just as Bowers had brokered for Epstein at Citi, Deutsche also set him up with over a dozen bank accounts that Epstein employed to receive and send wires and funds. From and to whom? The network must be laid bare.
Epstein also helped bring in new business from his many wealthy associates to Bowers at both banks, so everyone was happy.
“Epstein made Bowers and his financial institutions hundreds of millions of dollars,” one executive said. “It really didn’t even matter that Epstein stiffed Citi for $30 million in defaults because he brought so much new money, new blood. Citi made far more than it lost.”
The relationship with Epstein continued until Bowers left Deutsche Bank in 2015. By that time, Epstein had multiple millions in loans with the help of Bowers, who recruited many of his top private wealth bankers from Citi to Deutsche Bank.
It seems like a pattern. The American Banker reports:
“Epstein brought lucrative clients into JPMorgan’s private-banking unit and was close to former head Jes Staley, who visited Epstein’s private island as recently as 2015. Leon Black, Apollo Global Management’s billionaire chairman, met with the financier from time to time at the company’s New York offices, and used Epstein for tax and philanthropic advice.”
Police reportedly found Bowers hanging from a rope in his California home. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Thomas Bowers died by an apparent suicide by hanging at his home before Thanksgiving. He was 55. The question all should ask, even if Bower’s banking career was over, Bower’s conduct at the various banks would only merit, at worst, fines and the lowest level of Club Fed, is as follows: What did Bowers really know that suicide should appear the best option? Alternatively, has it been properly ascertained that this was suicide? Epstein likewise died from a reported suicide by hanging, according to the New York City Medical Examiner. As the meme goes “Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.” Did Bowers?

Former Reddit CEO Ellen Pao admitted in a tweet “we knew” about Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking underage girls but attended a party where Maxwell was present anyway.
“Pao, a former partner at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, said Maxwell was at the firm’s holiday party in 2011, more than two years after Epstein was first convicted of soliciting sex from a 14 year old,” reports Business Insider.

After Pao was asked to elaborate on her tweet, she placed her Twitter account on lockdown.
After her tweet garnered media attention, Pao tried to clarify it ny noting that Maxwell had been accused by victims of taking part in the abuse as early as March 2011.
“To be clear, the press had described her as supplying underage girls for sex, but she had not been charged so I guess it would be more accurate to say we ‘suspected’ v ‘knew,'” said Pao in a follow up tweet.

The Brit socialite has been transferred to New York's tough Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC) ahead of a high-profile court hearing on child sex charges.
Now a law-enforcement source has revealed prison officials in charge of the MDC in Brooklyn are determined to avoid a similar fate with Maxwell.

Data from nearly 200 mobile devices reveal the exact path taken by visitors to Jeffrey Epstein's notorious 'pedo island,' which was tracked to 80 cities around the world spanning 26 states or territories.
The data, obtained by Wired, came from recently bankrupt company Near Intelligence, which allegedly traced the phones which went to and from Little Saint James island, where Epstein allegedly ran an underage sex trafficking network.
Near Intelligence, which rebranded itself Azira amid an internal fraud scandal and other controversies, mapped out more than 11,000 coordinates from 166 locations. Some of the locations point to gated communities in Michigan, Florida, as well as homes in Martha's Vineyard and Nantuckett and a nightclub in Miami, according to the report.
The coordinates that Near Intelligence collected and left exposed online pinpoint locations to within a few centimeters of space. Visitors were tracked as they moved from the Ritz-Carlton on neighboring St. Thomas Island, for instance, to a specific dock at the American Yacht Harbor—a marina once co-owned by Epstein that hosts an “impressive array” of pleasure boats and mega-yachts. The data pinpointed their movements as they were transported to Epstein’s dock on Little St. James, revealing the exact routes taken to the island. -Wired
The tracking data, which dates back as early as July 2016, also includes routes taken inside Epstein's 'waterfront temple' to toe beaches, pools and cabanas located on the 71-acre island. The surveillance data ends on July 6, 2019 - the day Epstein was arrested (for the second time).
Of course, the report excludes "any precise location data that could be used to identify properties or individuals, to protect the privacy of anyone uninvolved in Epstein’s crimes," however Wired suggests they document "the numerous trips of wealthy and influential individuals seemingly undeterred by Epstein’s status as a convicted sex offender."
The data also tracks people to Epstein's 8,000-acre New Mexico ranch as well as his waterfront mansion on El Brillo Way in Palm Beach, where Epstein was accused of trafficking and sexually abusing numerous "minor girls" as part of his scheme.
As Wired also reports, "Near’s data is notably missing any locations in Europe, where citizens are safeguarded by comprehensive privacy laws."
Several ad exchanges, according to The Wall Street Journal, have reportedly terminated arrangements with Near, claiming that its use of their data violated the exchanges’ terms of service.
Officially, this data is intended to be used by companies hoping to determine where potential customers work and reside. But in October 2023, the Journal revealed that Near had once provided data to the US military via a maze of obscure marketing companies, cutouts, and conduits to defense contractors. Bankruptcy records reviewed by WIRED show that in April 2023, Near Intelligence signed a yearlong contract with another firm called nContext, a subsidiary of the defense contractor Sierra Nevada. -Wired
"The pervasive surveillance machine that has been developed for digital advertising now enables other uses completely unrelated to marketing, including government mass surveillance," according to Vienna-based researcher Wolfie Christl of Cracked Labs.

There is literally zero chance the Feds do not know who these people are...and in the deadzone of no prosecutions or investigations it means the silence indicated they are hiding the clients and possible even using the data to manipulate them...what other explanation fits?
