Heh, it's not the heat it's the humidity.

I don't know which is worse:  Skeeters or green flies.  Green flies will bite you through clothing, the bastards.  And yes, green flies bite, and it is quite painful.

I used to love the heat and humidity, 90/90 being a good day, but that's a young man's game.

We had a very mild winter. A fair amount of rain but temps that averaged around 44 degrees. I don't think it ever got below 30. Usually that means a warmer than average summer but I abandoned "usually" when they elected The Precedent. Nothing is the same - nothing (except bad news) is predictable - everything is different.

The moles devastated my backyard this winter. I've been so busy that I hadn't taken stock of anything except emergent needs. The little bastards have hills topping two feet tall and three to four feet in diameter! Maybe I should dig it all up and plant potatoes...

We had a couple days of weather over the weekend and into the beginning of this week that were uncharacteristically miserable for this time of year. Usually by now things are thawing a bit, not going back into deep-freeze like they did. We're supposed to be returning to normal here shortly. Thank God. I need open water.

Just at freezing this morning.  We've had more wintry weather in the last 10 days than just about the entire rest of the winter.  But the good thing about March snows, it doesn't stick around.

/Once had a mid-May snowstorm in college, which was in the Appalachins.  A good two or so inches of wet heavy snow on a Friday morning and clean as a whistle by mid-afternoon.

We are on our THIRD day of overcast, and second full day of steady snow in Colorado.  This NEVER happens. I dreamed of it as a kid. It was rare for a sky to stay overcast for even half of a day.

It's climate chaos..... In the 80's in Tennessee, but if the forcast is believable, we will drop to 50 friday and mid 30's that nite. I know it's not cold to many here, but it equates to breaking out the thermal undies to hit the lake.

Last time we had an inch in May was 1976.  Only 3 times in history the TC has had 3 inches.  Never 4.

I really have stepped into bizzaro world.. its surreal enough to have the President giving food stamps to Mexicans, and deliberately destroying the country. But weathermen in Colorado are almost never right even a day in advance. I fulled expected a bit of rain , no snow.  Nope. There is snow.  They have now called 3 storms, a week in advance, correctly, one of them being a MAY snowstorm.

Oh, and hey, what is it with weather and moonbats anyway?

15" in Owatonna wins.  I believe that would be a new state record for May.

Pretty much 0 in my neck of the woods.  It went east and south.

Have you had to cut the grass yet?  Trim the hedges?  Weed the garden?  Clean the gutters?  No?  Then relax, that work'll come around soon enough.  Just remember:  What you're experiencing is free air conditioning.  And if you store the beer right, a free ice chest.

Raining in Tennessee and a balmy 55 degrees. If it wasn't for global warming, it may only be 45 degrees today.

Izatys was on the wrong side of the lake, not that they can do anything about it.

Winds were really strong this past weekend, being on the receiving end wasn't going to be good.

Last two videos are interesting.

Hope the death count doesn't rise.   ::praying::

ETA - This thing had 200mph winds.

I have a tournament on Ky lake this friday and the low is projected to be 47 degrees fri morning with a balmy high of 70. Water temp is normally in the high 70's....it is 65 degrees today. I'm gonna need a coat. It's the end of may in Tennessee. I'm normally swimming in my pool, not digging out long pants and jackets.

Overcast, gusting winds and cold!  45o this morning; it 'feels' like 42o and looks like late October out there.  Definitely not 'opening weekend of summer' beach weather.

Not bad Don!   ::thumbsup::

Between this weekend and last I manage to scare up enough critters to have a fish fry yesterday for the clan.  Cool most of the weekend, had the fire pit going during the day to take the edge off, yesterday was a bit better, could sport short pants.  Cool today so far...supposed to get near 70 later.
