Title: A Blessed Christmas
Post by: AlanS on December 25, 2017, 07:57:30 AM
I'm Blessed way more than I deserve and hope you're house is the same.

The winner of the Best Gift award goes to my daughter-in-law who gave us our second granddaughter Dec 13th. ::whoohoo::

And just to show how much I'm in the Christmas spirit....

Oh, on the subject of blessings Alan, how is Nick doing?

Nick's pretty much healed as much as he's going to. Everything is great except for his left hand/wrist. Pretty much decoration and balance.

His Godfather got him an inflatable kayak for Christmas. He's excited and ready for warm weather so he can road test it. He got to kayak last summer and loved it. Took him about 15-20 minutes to figure out how he was going to paddle with his left hand, but once he got it going there was no stopping him! That's him in the kayak here.

We wanted to get him a hard kayak, but lack storage for a big one. Hopefully the inflatable will fill the bill until then.

Awesome, glad he is doing well.

Gosh, I hope there isn't anything toothy in that water!   ::speechless::

I'm pretty sure the only toothy critters are gators.  ;D

There's a pic somewhere of a 10' harvested about 50 yds from where my buddy started his swim. The girl that killed it is only about 5'2" tall and weighs a buck 20 soaking wet.

No.  No!  NO!

I do not like big toothy prehistoric aquatic lizards!  And I refuse to tempt them into making me a snack!
