relationship with a slave girl, Sally Hemings. {A DNA study in 1998 and a
multidiscipinary 9 member panel in 2000 concluded,"it is very unlikely that any
Jefferson other than Thomas Jefferson was the father of Hemings 6 children".
Further studies have concluded that the DNA link between Thomas Jefferson
and Sally Hamings was valid}].
