We went on a quick summer vacation to Crested Butte CO in mid August. Got caught in a blizzard on our way over Monarch Pass. I know weather can happen any time - and very quickly, in the mountains. But I have to admit that was the last thing on my mind.

Same thing happened to me in Yellowstone a handful of years ago...mid-August in the northern end at elevation...snow...it happens...
Progs just freak out and start spewing climate change chants...

Where haven't I seen it the past week? Um. Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming (when I drove through...I see Wyoming now has snow cover in the higher elevations).
