Title: 11 Freaky Food Superstitions
Post by: Maddy on October 25, 2013, 11:29:59 AM
Pretty interesting! I've only heard of a handful of these.

Superstitions have been around for centuries, evolving from cultural and religious beliefs at different times and different places in history. For some people, they may just be spooky superstitions, but for others, they’re a part of a culture and are taken seriously. And some of the freakiest superstitions just happen to involve food. http://www.thedailymeal.com/11-freaky-food-superstitions-slideshow (http://www.thedailymeal.com/11-freaky-food-superstitions-slideshow)

The only one I've ever heard of was the salt one.

And one is silly; everybody knows you carry garlic to ward off vampires.  Sheesh.   ::evilbat::
