Cool...not since the old Soviet Union collapsed has an American capital ship sortied into the Norwegian Sea.

Having been through exercises in the Aleutians I can attest to the the brutal conditions of operating in such an environment...not an easy thing on men or material.
As far as the GIUK Gap (https://www.usni.org/usni-blog/22520) and greater Norwegian Sea area is concerned, we've never left...in a below sea level measure any way.
