It's almost like the strategy from the start was: 1) Ignore it, the proper authorities are looking at it, what could go wrong? 2) Go along with your Establishment leadership, what could go wrong? 3) Lose your chamber, literally on purpose, so your Establishment leaders can say "Take, that, Trump!" and then 4) Look like you are trying to do your job as your sh*t is being evicted.
