This smells to high heaven...guys like this are not mentally weak or cowards...there's something not being mentioned here...and it is odd there is no mention of "family" beyond the generic application...was there something he knew and wasn't supposed to, or something he shouldn't share...an affair...what? Admirals don't just go killing themselves for no reason or even by choice...

Please don't piss on my shoe and tell me it's raining, yah?
One recent "suicide" (https://defensemaven.io/bluelivesmatter/news/hhs-official-s-death-ruled-suicide-by-multiple-blunt-force-injuries-RvmbAWWTqEuEW2BEdC2m5w/) was the result of multiple blunt force injuries, and there have been others under not-quite kosher circumstances. For instance, how exactly does one hang himself until dead from a doorknob?

::hat-tip::
Or shoot ones self with a pistol or nailgun...with the non-dominant hand?
They offer no details on the admiral...and may not even after the passage of time long after NCIS and superiors have reviewed files...
My skepticism seems a natural fit in these tightly controlled latter days...
