He is only acknowledging the inevitable.
We could say that, once again, we have allowed the MFM to choose our candidate for us but I believe that this is only half true.
I had originally been quite pleased with the field of candidates that we had. But as time went on and the debates really introduced us to the candidates I became aware that we did not have a really good field to choose from.
I won't list the issues that I had with each of them...I've already done that elsewhere on this forum...but suffice it to say that in the end I didn't care for any of them.
We needed a candidate who simply was not there.
And now we have Romney.
So...
...suck it up, campers. He may, in fact, blow beets but he is our nominee and we need to support his sorry RINO ass or be faced with the reality of having BO pick another SCOTUS nomination. We need to embrace Romney's pathetic excuse for a presidency or deal with several more years of BO running roughshod over the Constitution and spending money that we don't have and that our grandchildren will be paying for.
And who knows? Maybe Romney will turn out to be a decent candidate and an acceptable custodian for the office of the presidency. I don't expect a leader. I don't expect a visionary. But if we could just have someone who could kind of hold things together without advancing the liberal socialist agenda too much then well, I guess that's better than the alternative:
