The Left will never accept the fact that Islam wages jihad against all non-believers simply because they are non-believers. The Left is invested in promoting the idea that we suffer from Islamic terrorism because of this or that "injustice" we have put upon them. They are invested in that idea because it's grist for their propaganda mill, based on their central premise of the West being inherently unjust and in need of revolutionary change.
They will never stop. There are no half measures that will placate them. Look at western Europe. They are all socialized with cradle to grave nanny states, but they still have leftist agitators demanding yet more leftism.
