Title: I’m Tired of the “Angry Black Woman” Stereotypes sez Moochelle
Post by: Pandora on January 11, 2012, 12:40:17 PM
… In the interview, Mrs. Obama said, “I love this job. It has been a privilege from day one.” (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/01/michelle-obama-plays-race-card-im-tired-of-angry-black-woman-stereotype-video/)

Jody Kantor's book is obviously stirring up a reaction.

BTW, who gave this ... person ... the idea that she has a job?

The best defense against those insinuations would be to stop acting like an Angry Black Woman.

($5 says she can't for more than about 15 minutes at a stretch)

Yup. A candid photograph can capture a person in any frame. Everyone's had a bad photograph taken, and everyone has had a sourpuss look in a moment when they might not have had a sour frame of mind. But when all the camera captures is anger - unless one is posing for the camera - that's a pattern. It is what it is. She has the reputation because she's a f**king bitch, and she wears it on her face at every moment she's not intentionally wiping it off.

The fact she admits it is a job to her justifies the profile of the angry black woman.....But I'd add uppity. Being on the staff of the bitch must be a bitch.

Pure manipulation of the stupid, using the race card.  Why?  Because the real stereotype is a Imelda Marcos/Marie Antoinette stereotype.

I am sure some of that is Photo-bias.. partially because a photo that plays to the  thought of her as a B*tch will sell better than one where she is smiling. But that thought only arises because of what she has said, from her first time pride in America, to her hypocritical scolding over junk food.

But hell, look at this

What a happy child.  This was in the People magazine write up - nice soft, glowing coverage.. This was the best picture from her childood they could find?

Totally OT - and I'm ignoring the fact that The First Mrs. walks like a plodding field hand --

Because of a Jeopardy question, I realized those red-soled shoes are a hot, designer item ...

Quote
Few designers have soared as quickly – and to such heights – as Christian Louboutin. This famous red soled footwear specialist’s name is now mispronounced in virtually every language by the swarms of elegant women from Los Angeles to Paris.

Well, thanks a lot for not providing the correct pronunication.

Not being a high-maintenance chickie, and not having bought a pair of heels in, nevermind, I'm not saying, I had no clue.  But they're stunning.

Michelle Obama has been treated with kid gloves by the MSM as far as I'm concerned.  I get really sick and tired of the hypocrisy of the left.  The same people who treat Sarah Palin like a piece of meat (and believe Sarah can't be derided enough) AND claim to be champions of women, are outraged by the "incivility" towards Michelle Obama.  It's the same hypocrisy on display when Debbie Blabbermouth-Schultz shows outrage at the incivility of the TeaPartiers in the same breath she's accusing them of murder.

Makes. Me. Sick.

I can't find it in my heart to bash this woman.  She is so in over her head in this job, with evidently no clue how to educate herself.  And then, she's married to that man, who seems to have no center...what kind of husband could he have been, back when he had the time to be a husband?  Well, maybe she doesn't care; maybe she's just glad to have a plausible husband.   I had a friend once (now deceased), a black female, who called a certain kind of black woman a "Mary Jane."  I gathered it had to do with ambition and status and a decent trophy husband.  I think she would have called Michelle a "Mary Jane," but even so, I'd go easy on her.  She was not prepared - like with a real life or a real husband, the way Laura Bush was - to take up residence in the White House and handle it graciously...like Laura Bush did.  Besides, it takes all my time and energy to stay sane while watching the President drive us off the cliff.

You may have a point. How would you like to be married to somebody who thinks he is the Marxsiah.

Sheesh, what a narcissist.

In the book The Roots of Obama's Rage the author writes that Michelle was mesmerized by BO's rhetoric. I'd hazard a guess that in the years since she's come to see the real man or lack thereof and isn't so mesmerized.  I noticed that in the interview where he admitted he struggles with laziness he kept looking at Michelle as he answered as if to see her reaction and she made a grunt as he spoke.  Makes me think they've had more than one argument about his work habits. She hitched her future to him and I bet she doesn't want that choice messed up.

Does she even like him?  I mean they go separately to their vacations.  I know people think it's because they just want to waste money.  But maybe he annoys her and she'd rather not deal with him.  She has everything she has  because of him so she has to make the best of it.  She has to act like she cares so of course she'd be sensitive to being called angry.

I think the reality is she is an angry woman.

There is truth in what you write, I believe, about him annoying her; I believe she doesn't like him, but he's the star to which she hitched her wagon, so she's conflicted, thus angry.  Well, more angry; she's always been angry.

I recall her saying on national TV during the campaign that, to her and the girls, he smells bad.  Even if true -- and she may have been referring to the cigarette smoke smell -- who does that?

I have never before heard the perfect argument against affirmative action spoken aloud by a Black liberal. Affirmative action first and foremost institutionalizes exactly this dehumanizing belief in ones own inferiority.

Self-fullfilling prophecy, courtesy of the Democrat Plantation, and in the end she allowed herself to be victimized by them, because now she really is inferior, and dependent upon them for her self-worth.  But inside she knows something is wrong, but her conditioning prevents her from accurately identifying it.  Betraying those who victimized you is a greater sin than accepting the inferiority they've given you.

The transition from slave field hand to minimum wage field hand under Jim Crow to Democrat field hand...nothing has changed other than technically not being a slave, since it is by their own choice they stay on that Plantation and adhere to their rules.

If that isn't the most sickening perversion ever I don't know what is.

But free will means being free to screw up, and most minorities have really excelled at screwing themselves up.

Thus, my sympathy to their plight is extremely narrow.  If they cannot recognize their error and seek to correct it and rejoin the fraternity of free people, then their fate is of their own choosing and none of my concern.

Exsqueeze me, but oh puh-leeze!  Who EVER told her, or any Black in the last 30 years, that she or they weren't "ready", that their "scores weren't high enough"??

She's smart enough to know she's been lied to but she's still playing the victim -- "GIVEN" real opportunity?  Oppressed? -- and yet still ignorant because she doesn't ken that, yes, there is always someone smarter, faster, better at "it", whatever "it" is, than each and every one of us, including her, which does not diminish our worth as humans.

People like her do not want to hear lies, but they do not want to hear the truth either, so they're stuck hating themselves and everybody else as well.
