Jim Quinn Returns With Online Show (And One Broadcast Affiliate)

Quote

Quinn

Former syndicated PITTSBURGH-based radio personality JIM QUINN is launching a new show online and on at least one broadcast outlet, reports the PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW.

QUINN's new live streaming morning show will start on APRIL 1st and will be heard online and on former PREMIERE-syndicated "QUINN AND ROSE" affiliate RADIO LIVINGSTON News-Talk WYSL-A-W221CL-F/ROCHESTER, NY.

“I do this because I love radio,” QUINN told the TRIB's PAT CLOONAN. “The nice thing about being my own boss is that the next time I get fired, I'll be firing myself.”

Woo hoo!   ::whoohoo::

Thanks much, AP.

Now, if he does the show without Rose, it would be perfect.

I'm not a big fan of Rose, either.

Betting it will be a subscription

It is.  $4.99/mo.  And I'd just renewed for $30 in October '13 when they went off the air in November '13.  Sent a WTF? email about it and heard ..... nothing.

...figures...my work filter doesn't like that site...if it said "ProgRoom" I'd probably be allowed to sail right in...   ::bashing::

I didn't listen, so, oh crap if it's him and her.

But, there was no mention of her.

Although I can't see him doing it without her.
Don't know if war room is his or both

Tried to listen this morning and the WCNS "livestream" for Quinn also requires 4.99 mo. subscription.

Oh, shoot!
I'm sorry, Pan.

I didn't see that

Not your fault, there was nothing to see.  I managed to hear about ten minutes of Quinn and then the broadcast abruptly switched to oldies music.  I kept checking every so often and just happened to catch Quinn (recorded) advising that his livestream was subscription only.

Since I'm still aggravated about getting less than a month's worth of my $30 yearly subscription for the WarRoom (old), I'm not inclined to ante up.  Whoever is running things ought to give some financial consideration to people who would like to subscribe but got screwed in '13.

Whatever.  His/their loss.

I just saw that Rose is getting her own show on another station.
Same time as  Quinn's.

She'll probably be a star.
She guests for Hannity
