Waiting in line for scarce goods is nothing new...every Soviet citizen and occupied neighbor knows this...that some people still have means to pay someone else to stand in a line...how long will that wealth or those goods last?

People with "means" in  communist countries are people who cheat and steal. They already have connections into the black markets - if they aren't running them. They don't stand in line.

Yeah, the common folk get hammered, but when things get really scarce the costs of smuggling increase and the cost of goods increases, so the oligarchs will feel some pain, not as much as they deserve (that will have to come from the people) and those profits sellers see will help ratchet up the violence too.  It's all such a swell deal eh?  People should be getting guns and ammo, and using them on their oppressors.

Oh well, the band plays on...
