The adulterous defiler of young girls, during the hight of the Cold War, to his young plaything -
āIād rather my children red than dead,ā he told her.
And we wonder why this clown got whacked?!
::)
-
Whore. Her too.

What's happened to our churches?
Why are people leaving mainstream churches?
This:
Alford, now a 69-year-old grandmother and retired New York City church administrator,

Whore. Her too.

"He refused to kiss her on the lips when they made love."
::thinking::
Anybody else find something glaringly wrong with that sentence?

Considering that we're talking about that degenerate jkf......no not particularly.
-
I bet he had some crazy notion that if "love" isn't involved it's just recreational.
::)
ETA - Notice too he had no problem passing her around to others.
And people adored this clown by the millions, and never knew who he really was!
-
Many knew, if only subliminally.
One couldn't repeat the high school jokes of that time period.

Not in my grandmothers household. I thought his name was "Son of a bitch" for almost two years...

My parents' home as well. Mom never thought Jackie was all that, either.

It is my understanding that is how whores conduct their .... business; that's the thought that came immediately to mind when I read that.

The author of the piece categorized what they were doing as "[making] love", in the same sentence as it was noted that Kennedy refused to kiss her on the lips. Not that kissing on the lips is a necessary function of lovemaking, but a refusal to do so certainly indicates that love had nothing to do with it. Only in the mind of someone with a warped view of intimacy and sex could a refusal to kiss and "lovemaking" coexist.

There is that.
IDP has a good point about the writer's use of the phrase "making love" when it was nothing of the sort.
Ugh to the whole sordid business.

My parents' home as well. Mom never thought Jackie was all that, either.
That was the same in our home.
My mom was particularly vocal.

Well, I am a good pattern-breaker, eh?! ::stirpot::
My folks were Kennedy fans when they were young and cranking us kids out. But eventually they lost interest with democrats, which had a lot to do with expanding the welfare state under Johnson and the disaster known as Jimmy Carter. I think Nixon was the first Republican they voted for since Eisenhower, and by the time Reagan came around they never voted for any democrat since.
