Yes, and yes...but I thought lithium and water = boom! Does Tesla encase that big battery pack in a watertight shell? I know they are designed to protect them from impacts and the cabin from heat if there is a fire and a titanium plate to prevent damage from underneath...I find nothing about mitigating water intrusion...but there has to be something, probably something not rated for immersion...
All they say is don't immerse it...nothing about if you are in it and it goes into a lake/pond/river/ocean...
