Title: Jerry Van Dyke 86
Post by: richb on January 06, 2018, 02:14:33 PM
Actor and comedian Jerry Van Dyke passes away at age 86.   Younger brother of Dick Van Dyke.   Sounds like he didn't recover from an auto accident he and his wife were in two years ago.   Thought he was pretty funny on Coach.   RIP

I loved Coach.  86 is a good run, though.  RIP.

I vaguely remember as a child, his cameo[s?] on the Dick Van Dyke show, playing Rob Petrie's brother, and thinking he was hilarious. The character had some kind of narcolepsy or something weird like that, if I remember correctly.

I don't remember that, but do remember him being in a few shows. Was pretty funny in anything he did.

RIP, Jerry.

Luther on Coach, I think that was his show name.

86, bummer, same age as my father.

R.I.P. Jerry.
