For anybody who remains confused over how rotten the corruption filth and scum is inside the entire DOJ and FBI bureaucracy...let this soak in...

Michigan State University gave $500 million to more than 300 women and girls who were assaulted. USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee settled for $380 million, and today the DOJ settled for $138 million. No one in the FBI was ever held accountable.

DETROIT — The U.S. Justice Department announced a $138.7 million settlement Tuesday with more than 100 people who accused the FBI of grossly mishandling allegations of sexual assault against Larry Nassar in 2015 and 2016, a critical time gap that allowed the sports doctor to continue to prey on victims before his arrest.

When combined with other settlements, $1 billion now has been set aside by various organizations to compensate hundreds of women who said Nassar assaulted them under the guise of treatment for sports injuries.

IG Report Excerpt – […] “The OIG found that, despite the extraordinarily serious nature of the allegations and the possibility that Nassar’s conduct could be continuing, senior officials in the FBI Indianapolis Field Office failed to respond to the Nassar allegations with the utmost seriousness and urgency that they deserved and required, made numerous and fundamental errors when they did respond to them, and violated multiple FBI policies.

The Indianapolis Field Office did not undertake any investigative activity until September 2nd, five weeks after the meeting with USA Gymnastics—when they telephonically interviewed one of the three athletes. Further, FBI Indianapolis never interviewed the other two gymnasts who they were told were available to meet with FBI investigators.

This absence of any serious investigative activity was compounded when the Indianapolis Field Office did not transfer the matter to the FBI office (the Lansing Resident Agency), where venue most likely would have existed had evidence been developed to support the potential federal crimes being considered, even though the Indianapolis office had been advised to do so by the USAO and had told USA Gymnastics that the transfer had occurred.

Additionally, the Indianapolis office did not notify state or local authorities of the sexual assault allegations even though it questioned whether there was federal jurisdiction to pursue them. As a result, the Lansing Resident Agency did not learn of the Nassar allegations until over a year after they were first reported to the FBI and then learned of them only from the MSUPD.

Moreover, the FBI conducted no investigative activity in the matter for more than 8 months following the September 2015 interview. During that period of time, as alleged and detailed in numerous civil complaints, Nassar’s sexual assaults continued.”

Among lame, overused lines often employed by members of Congress, this one is among the lamest and most overused in the book:

“I have classified information—which I can’t share with you—that tells me I’m right and you’re wrong.”

Don’t fall for it.

There’s a good chance politicians using this line are exaggerating whatever they learned in a classified briefing for their own convenience.

If they’re not—and there really is a deep, dark, classified secret behind their answer—they shouldn’t be talking about it.

If they can find a non-classified reason to justify their position, they should rely on that instead.

If they can’t find such an explanation, perhaps they should reconsider their position.

After all, we’ve all been lied to—or at least deliberately misled—in classified briefings.

In any event, members of Congress should *not* be talking about classified material, much less using it as a shield to insulate them from legitimate questions asked by concerned citizens.

What is it that brings out the  vileness in these Baltics? One them is deporting pensioners that cannot pass a language test. One was a 65 year old blind woman.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Estonia, Laanemets, threatened to close Orthodox monasteries that refuse to come under the jurisdiction of the Estonian Orthodox Church

The same minister recently proposed that the Estonian parliament recognize the Moscow Patriarchate as a terrorist organization.

Freedom of conscience and religion in the 'Garden of Eden' has turned into a pumpkin, following the loss of other rights and freedoms.

F-35s are one third combat ready.

The F-35 Lightning II (F-35) is the most ambitious and expensive weapons system of the US Department of Defense. It is legally established that the GAO (Government Accountability Office) annually monitors the status of the F-35 program. These reports contain interesting data.

The US Department of Defense's projected costs for maintaining the F-35 fleet through 2088 continue to rise. In particular, maintenance cost estimates increased by 44%, from ~$1.1 trillion. in 2018 to ~$1.58 trillion. in 2023.

Annual operating and maintenance costs for each aircraft are now estimated at $6.8 million. This is still significantly higher than the reported $4.1 million.

The overall combat readiness (the percentage of time an aircraft can perform at least one of its assigned missions) of the F-35 fleet has declined significantly over the past five years, and none of the aircraft variants are meeting targets. The rate of full combat readiness (the percentage of time during which the aircraft can perform all assigned tasks) also decreased from 2022 to 2023 for all three options. The F-35A's full combat capability rate (for the Air Force) fell from 43.5% to 36.4% . The F-35B (the Marine Corps STOVL version) saw a decrease from 16% to 14.9%. The F-35C (the carrier-based variant used by the Marines and Navy) saw a decline in overall combat readiness from 20.9% to 19.2%.

The report notes that since 2014, the GAO has issued 43 recommendations to the Pentagon on financial optimization of the F-35 program. Although the Ministry agreed with many of these recommendations and implemented some of them, thirty recommendations (about 70%) remain unimplemented.

The Department of Defense is pursuing cost-saving efforts and continues to look for new ways to reduce costs. However, GAO estimates that these efforts are unlikely to fundamentally change the cost of operating the aircraft.

Oh, look at this excerpt from the Israel aid bill.

$3.5 billion for Department of State migration and refugee assistance.

This is what the State Department uses to pay the NGOs coordinating the illegal invasion at our southern border, and providing all the freebies once they're in.
