By week two everybody knew that, lived it and lived with it. Everyone, except Manning.
.
.
Everyone knows that.
                                                                           Except Manning.
.
.
His days were numbered, and everybody knew to steer clear of him. That is, everyone but …

I think what pisses me off the most is he keeps calling it "she".

Just my guess here. As this was written my a military man, all the references to "she" and "her" and "Chelsea" are dripping with scorn and derision. I don't think the writer was trying to be politically correct on this one . . .

Yeah I dunno BigAl...it reads to me like a factual report...maybe I'm missing some nuance but I don't think so...the only time I read anything smacking of scorn and derision is in tag lines like "everyone but", the use of gender was applied in a linear way...but maybe I am missing something...
