Next they'd like to put an animal into space, before loading up rockets with nuclear payloads no doubt.
Animals? Well, they do have a lot of Shiite's running around...

Lets welcome them into this century by sending them some death capsules.

Since I am thinking their technological expertise leaves a lot to be desired, their life capsules may simply be misnamed, for the near future anyway...so you're probably already right! But whatever else we can do to make them more dangerous (ie-Stuxnet worm!) I'm all for it! ::thumbsup::

Rand Simberg had this the other day: Iran Lies About Its Space Program (http://www.transterrestrial.com/?p=32694)
The state IRNA news agency says the capsule was carried by a rocket dubbed Kavoshgar-4 - or Explorer-4 in Farsi - some 75 miles (120 kilometers) into orbit.
There is no such thing as a 75 mile high orbit. At that altitude there is a near-vacuum, the operative word being "near". There is still enough atmospheric drag to quickly bring down a spacecraft.
