In his videos, he appears to express support for an extreme "black nationalist" ideology. At certain points, he even expresses a hatred or dislike for black people, referring to them as racial slurs which we won't repeat here (although you can find some examples over at the Daily Beast).
At one point, James calls upon "black Jesus" to "kill all the whiteys".
Older posts showed him sharing positive messages about Cuban Communist dictator Fidel Castro.
Describing himself as a "prophet of doom", James at one point described 9/11 as "the most beautiful day, probably in the history of this f**king world."
Apparently, James posted posts inciting violence on Facebook for years, without them being taken down.
Interestingly, while James frequently spouted anti-white hatred, the MSM has already set to work trying to frame the shooting as an attack on Asians and the Hispanic community, because of the location of the attack (h/t to Grabien for the quote).

JUST IN: 8 teens have been arrested for the murder of Las Vegas teen Jonathan Lewis who was jumped & beaten to death.
The teens range in age from 13 years old to 17.
According to investigators, the fight broke out over headphones which were reportedly stolen from one of Lewis’ friends.
When the murderers refused to give them back, Lewis and his friends agreed to meet them in a nearby alley.
“As soon as a punch is thrown, ten subjects immediately swarm him,” said homicide Lt. Jason Johansson.
Lewis was later found by a citizen and was “battered and bleeding from the head.”
He was murdered for standing up for his friend who was stolen from...

Westfield signed a 20-year lease on May of 2014 – meaning they still have 10 years left in their lease. Westfield is blaming crime and quality of life concerns as their reason for terminating the lease. In response, the MTA is suing the retail management company for breaking the lease.
But Westfield says the MTA is not properly maintaining public safety at the transit hub and the mall giant has told the MTA that multiple tenants have left — citing break-ins, theft, vandalism, harassment and assault.
