American Idol
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:02:20 PM »
I can't believe I'm posting this.....I normally don't watch the reality shows but in this instance I've been watching some because we have a local ( Clark Beckham, White House, Tennessee) who is in the final 5. So.....if you watch and vote, throw one his way. He actually is a talented guy, went to the local private Christian  school here and is a good guy.

We had a local on "The Voice" a few seasons ago. Sucked me right in, and now I love the show.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

"Clark Beckham, White House, Tennessee..."

One of my favorite "artists that no one else has heard of" is from White House.  Neal Morse.

I got sucked in in the Philip Phillips season.  The Aerosmith finale was quite good.

That was enough.  Especially as Steven Tyler left the show.

Vote Clark Beckham and leave me alone!!!!  lol  Apparently  he has made it thru another round. American Idol will be in our little town this Friday for promo, a concert and generally make local traveling impossible. Good for him. He is a cool kid.
