I watched the original Batman Thursday evening. I hadn't seen it since its release in the sixties and something told me I needed the comic relief. Then I watched Voyage To the Bottom Of The Sea with Walter Pigeon and Peter Lorre

Movies I grew up with. Stories I enjoyed. Actors I admired. Like Adam West.

That is a good run.

But yeah...another one from my youth gone...

"Zapp!"  "Poww!"  Those word graphics were a staple of grade school re-enactments with friends.

And yeah I thought Batgirl was hot.  Turns out Yvonne Craig passed away at 78 from breast cancer in 2015, as far as I can tell we missed that.

Both R.I.P.!
