And STILL doesn't use profanity. Get comfortable 'cause this is good. It starts off slow, but Cos still gets in form.

I watched this a couple weeks ago with my 18 yo daughter.
After she laughed a few times I asked if she noticed anything about Cos
Then I asked how many swear words she heard

I then explained that he was funnier than most of the "comedians" out there

I downloaded :Why is There Air" from ITunes in the .mpg format and put it on a zip drive for my truck, so when I get tired of music I can listen to some funny stuff.

I also downloaded several of "The Bickersons" routines, Andy Griffith's "What It Was Football" and some others.

He's had some good ones.  The parenting "my job is the goalie, I get to kick 'em back into play" stands out.  I think the only cussing he did was that part about forgetting his kids names when angry "I thought I was Goddamnit?"!

We saw him in a similar venue in Raleigh some years ago.  Bill Cosby is a funny guy.  Riiiiight.  ;)

FYI, the comedy presentation is an hour and a half.  The rest of the vid is Cosby, with Robert Townsend, discussing how he got started.

You're gonna die!" and the guy screams "Oh my God, Panthers!" and peels out!

I have that album (Why Is There Air?), but I don't recall anything like you described.

I'm probably wrong on the album but the era sounds about right.

Sweat it not. I'm wrong half the time, and incorrect for the other half!  ::laughonfloor::

I don't remember which album it was, but he's the one who coined the term "idiot mittens"; you know, the kids' mittens connected by a string that went up the arm, over the shoulders and down the other arm so the kid couldn't lose a mitten.

Perfect.

My mother still wonders how I could lose them things when I was a wee lad...along with just about everything else...

I guess they aren't complete-idiot-proof!

Couple more of my favorite lines:
