In a word, hilarious. Even Greg Gutfeld is left speechless by Bob's epic performance in this episode of "The 5." Must be seen to be believed...at Mediaite.

Sean Hannity's good friend.
Cal Thomas's good friend, too. The funny thing is that Beckel is supposed to be a born again Christian. Supposedly came to know Christ by way of Cal Thomas during his struggle with kicking alcohol.
Side note: I grew up in Houston and went to the same church as Cal Thomas. Knew his kids quite well. I remember when he went to DC. It was to work for the Family Research Council, I think, and then he went on to write a syndicated column and from there to FNC. A great guy. Beckel, not so much. He apparently has had no small amount of trouble adapting to the Christian life.

I always wonder how much of Beckel (on the air) is legit and how much is put on. That is, FNC does pay him as a liberal POV person. Television isn't real, you know.

Beckel is a commie collaborator and does his job well. Watching the Five I get the distinct impression he's giving a big wink to the camera.

And I believe firmly that sobriety is a daily reprieve based on your commitment to your Creator. And if you firmly believe in a power greater than yourself - or God - then you will stay sober. If you don't, you won't. And if you don't, you'll die. So, the options seem fairly obvious to people.
So what has this brought me? We've done a lot of speeches. We've written a book. A lot of good things have come out of it that are important in the political system, but not nearly as important to me as the relationship and my faith. Everything else pales in comparison.

Did Bob's conversion occur before or after that Maryland prostitute and her pimp tried to extort money from him after an evening of fun and frivolity ? He conveniently became a witness for the prosecution ... but he still got laid by a hoe ! Which actually makes sense . Paying for it would be the only way Bob could get any .
