My son in law hasn't been feeling well and finally got nagged into going to a doctor and it seems that he has fluid build up between his lungs and chest wall.
He was told that he had ripped a muscle three months ago at a walk in clinic so he's been living with the pain thinking since he was told that it could take months to heal that it's his problem.
But his regular doctor found the fluid and suspect that it might be caused by the ripped muscle or he's had walking pneumonia or cancer(hell of a thing to say.
So tomorrow they will pull the fluid out and test is so we can see WTF it is.
So we need prayers big time!!

Prayers offered.
It could very well be a lingering case of walking pneumonia. My mom had that, and her symptoms were similar, with a persistent pain in the chest and back. They gave her a shot of powerful antibiotics and she said she felt markedly better within just a few hours. Hopefully it is just something like that.

Hope you're right. And thanks for the support.

I DO pray that his Doctors find the truth and HELP. God gives gifts to us, one of which is good medical professionals. May each of his team be at their best and find the solution. Failing in that, I would also beg direct intervention. May God be glorified in his healing, either way God chooses to provide it.

Yes, let it be quickly diagnosed and treated. ::praying::

It sounds like mild pneumonia to me, also.

They pulled a little over a litre of fluid out of him today and now we wait for the test results on the fluid.
Thanks for the support guys.

Okay, don't panic. Not necessarily bad; it has some rather benign causes too.

Thank-you John for sharing with us and letting us pray for you and your family. I just prayed for your Son in Law and I will keep him in my prayers throughout.
God has made us to care for and love others and prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can respond.
God Bless You (http://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/religion/t0803.gif)

There's been nothing between the fluid analysis and now?

The fluid was removed and it had been in there too long and it crystallized on his lung and is preventing it from reinfecting so the doctors need to see if there is any improvement or do they need to go in and scrape it off his lung.
This is all they seem to be willing to tell me,but I'm suspicious by nature and keep thinking that they're holding back. But it's probably just me being me.
-
Okay then, still on the prayer list fer sure.

Hope all goes well. ::praying::

If it seems like they're holding back, it is because anything they suggest could be the wrong thing. They don't want you spending the time between now and the end of their prescribed waiting period overly optimistic, nor devastated with fear.
Either way, waiting to see if a lung needs scraping is no small thing. We'll keep praying.
