It's not funny to me either, but I don't know what can be done about it prior to things going extracurricular. We're now in an era where the only thing that matters to roughly half the population is that someone has a (D) after their name. Their failings, their character flaws, infidelity to our Constitution, none of that matters to such people. We can point it out until we're blue in the face, but they don't care. It's Home Team vs. Visiting Team, the Blue Tribe vs. the Red Tribe.
