"Medical sensing"?  It transmits.  It's an RFID patch.

There's a form of colonoscopy camera in capsule form that one swallows and it transmits to the GI/radiologist/lab pics of its passage through the colon until it passes from the body.

That's about as far as I'm willing to extend my good faith and credit for such items.
