I notice more broadcast TV stations added as time goes on. Quest seems to have lots of history channel stuff. I don't think Quest was there a year ago.
I use a 2 foot long yagi(?) antenna that I use indoors.  All my stations are in the same location and 5 miles away.  It costs maybe $25. If they were farther away I would use a larger outdoor antenna.

I have been watching braodcast TV lately, inlcuding Quest network, with lots of reality TV and military history stuff.

Can't get Quest (even though it sounds great), but we can catch Grit TV. Nothing but old westerns. ::whoohoo::

I'm pretty sure we still have every Lego that's ever entered our house. Even the grandkids play with them.

The damn little ones hurt like HELL when stepped on barefooted!!!!!

That's funny. I don't care who ya are.

I'm shocked they actually reported it with accuracy. I expected "we're peace loving Pali's...."

What makes this even more infuriating is just a couple years ago our o-so-learned-and-wise educators told us they would no longer be teaching cursive writing--"Kids no longer need to know how to write cursively.  Keyboard skills are what's important now."

And now,  they're teaching calligraphy?  If instruction in calligraphy is so damned important,  why not just teach cursive writing?

Then they can get their communist,  Islamist indoctrination across the old fashioned way,  with one of the original 3 R's.   ::pullhair::

No doubt a mustanger.  I don't think a commissioned officer would have been in a position to do what he did at Iwo.

It is a bittersweet thing to read lines like "...the last living U.S. Marine Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima..." but that is where we are.

Well said.  Grew up in the midst of WW II vets all around.  Old age is doing what the Japs and Gerrys couldn't.  A sad thing to witness really.
So very important that we honor the ones,  like Mr.Williams here,  while we still can.

God bless him and all the ones remaining and gone on before (Memorial Day next weekend--heads up).

Semper Fi,  Woody Williams.  You,  sir,   are a credit to my Corps and my country.  Thank you and God bless.
