Finally some good news on the media front.   Al Jazeera America throws in the towel,  and will end its US operations at the end of April.

Surprise surprise surprise

But from the beginning, Al Jazeera America has been beset by lousy ratings and internal strife.Two former employees filed lawsuits last year against the company with charges of anti-Semitism and sexism in the newsroom.

Amazing that we even allowed such a thing in the first place. Hell, our government would allow ISIS and al Qadea to operate media inside our borders, as long as they promised to be peecefool mooslims.

Yup, Al Gore owned the equally low rated and unwanted cable channel Current TV that Aljazeera replaced.

Hopefully the space will be used by something useful.

Too bad AlGore made money on that deal...I would like to see both of them go up in flames...
